It’s not about joining any side my friend, it is a fact. Handlers of the INEC chairman made a huge mistake for denying the obvious. He should have simply admitted the situation since everyone has a past. INEC stakeholders are beyond the shores of this land, and this is an unacceptable redline to most. The denial was a bad faith. The President and the National Assembly need to act to guarantee accountability, transparency and impartiality from the leadership of INEC.

Eventually, Prof Joash Amupitan as INEC chairman will be the biggest liability to the current Tinubu administration, both locally and internationally. Coming days may unfold this reality.
