It’s long overdue that Kenyan security personnel are equipped with body‑worn cameras (bodycams) to promote transparency and accountability. The government should also fully replace analogue systems for suspect bookings and statement recordings with a secure, digital platform, eliminating paper logs and the traditional Occurrence Book (OB). Furthermore, every police station must be fitted with functioning CCTV systems to record all interactions and enhance public trust. The tragic and untimely death of Albert Ojwang must serve as a wake‑up call. His death underscores the urgent need for these reforms, not as abstract ideals, but as essential safeguards for every Kenyan. Let his passing mark a turning point! An injury to one Comrade is an injury to all. #JusticeForAlbertOjwang
