The abuse and commentary being written on social media by fellow Gaels about the #Derry U20 management is crass, unedifying and often ill-informed. Some of it is just downright attention seeking. The lack of class and integrity is mortifying.

Slot has got a lot of things wrong, but one thing he did get right was Chiesa because (as much as I love him) ever since those first few games where we calling for him to play more, he has been absolutely honking this season.

I don't get it. Salah's the perfect role model: family man, no smoking/drinking, hardest trainer in PL. Never sent off, rarely booked, just smiles when constantly fouled. Posted unheard-of numbers for a PL winger. He has reinvented the role. He should be worshipped, yet ppl always look for reasons to knock him down or criticise him. I just don't get it.

Fair play to scotstown, knocking on the door a good while now and I wouldn’t begrudge them their win and it was well deserved.
