I believe your a good man wanting to improve things for the people of Montana, but you need to research your facts. Here they are.. The “Big Beautiful Bill” didn’t “attack” eight rural Montana clinics, it confronted unsustainable Medicaid growth while delivering Montana a historic $233 million (potentially $1.2 billion) "Rural Health Transformation" windfall, the fourth-largest in America. Those clinics faced closure risks for years due to low volume and losses, long before the bill. “Protect and expand” them blindly means endless taxpayer bailouts, crowding out real fixes like telehealth, mobile care, and right-sizing empty beds. Rural Montanans deserve efficient, innovative access, not romanticized inefficiency that burdens working families with higher taxes. Transformation beats nostalgia.
