Ahead of @LUFC FA Cup Semi Final match against Chelsea on Sunday, one fan has been showing his support in an unusual way. Former West Yorkshire Police detective turned dog walker Lee Stowe has taught dogs Milo & Jasper the popular terrace anthem, "Marching on Together"

@CaptainChats @triffic_stuff_ I hate to say it cis some human rights lover will blow it a part. Get them tagged and doing community service, litter picking (under supervision.) they have got to earn their keep. Clean up Britain, would be an excellent start. IF no passport or documents - then into a DEPORT.

“YOUR APPROVAL RATING IS LOWER THAN FARAGE!”🔥 This Is Amazing And Totally Unexpected! Watch ‘Two Tier’ Keir squirm as he gets properly grilled by the hard-hitting political heavyweights… Andi Peters & Cat Deeley of all people! On This Morning, Cat asks: “Do you feel the pressure?” Starmer waffles on about “difficult decisions” and staying focused. The usual script. Then Andi goes straight for the jugular: “Surely you want the public to trust you, to like you, to think you’re the man for the job? Your approval rating is lower than Nigel Farage’s right now!” Remember this hard-hitting grilling that showed just how poor our supposedly serious political journalists are. Compare it to the soft-ball, PR-friendly interviews Keir gets from the likes of Beth Rigby, the ones who are supposed to hold power to account but instead act like helpful stenographers, lobbing gentle questions and giving him easy outs. That tells you everything you need to know about the state of our cosy, Labour-friendly political media. Truly pathetic that the toughest scrutiny comes from daytime TV and former kids’ TV presenters rather than the so-called serious journalists in the Westminster bubble.

@benonwine Yes and when entering my date if birth on a computer pains me with how far back I have to scroll. I turned 50 on 30th March. I actually don't want to live and be a burden on my family, so if dementia, terminal cancer gets me I'm off to Switzerland. 1 of 2

@salvan3003 Hi - that's a great question! Some of our rail partners allow upgrades to be offered for trains that have already departed from their origin station, but are still en route to future stops. If you haven't already, please reach out to our team via email at help@seatfrog.com. ^VH

@SeatfrogHelp I have just upgraded to first class paid for it, then brought it up and it was for the train that had left an hour earlier. I get I'm the idiot, but why does your system actually allow you to buy a ticket for a train in the past

@claire_adams694 I worked with women ethnic groups in Glasgow and it was well known that the wives would give their postal vote papers to their husbands who would then hand them to the local mosque.

I’ve just read a few British MPs saying they “don’t understand what family voting is.” Interesting. Between 2012 and 2014 I spent three months in Kabul during Afghan elections. I was deployed as a Personal Protection Officer for the EU Ambassador. Election day shut the entire city down. Roads empty. High threat. Elections in fragile states are flashpoints. Male and female polling stations were separate. I stood outside the female stations providing protection while the Ambassador went inside. Ballot papers had the candidates’ photographs on them because many Afghans couldn’t read. You voted with a thumbprint. Indelible ink marked your finger. Why? Because coercion happens. Because block control happens. Because “family voting” is not a conspiracy theory. It’s a recognised problem. Afghanistan, in the middle of insurgency and systemic corruption, understood the risk of one person directing multiple votes. So when an MP in the UK claims they don’t know what family voting is, forgive me if I don’t buy the innocence. I’m not speaking from theory. I’ve seen how seriously fragile democracies take ballot integrity.

@djaycov @BasilTheGreat As long as you have the date of the first email, it's irrelevant if they confirm or not. Do belt & braces, phone your bank today and ask them to block the recurring transaction to them. Don't leave it til it renews.

@gaersstapa @BasilTheGreat If you have evidence of the first cancellation request and have followed their cancellation policy, go to your bank, you can use chargeback scheme if card and or direct debit indemnity. It isn't rocket science. Before anyone shoots me, I know this as fact.

@BasilTheGreat Behave, people are protected by the Direct debit indemnity scheme. So they can claim money back. Secondly, if paying by card they can cancel subscription at the bank. Why do I know this, cos I work for a bank and my job is exactly the above.
