Conor had success early. Francis, I still think, won. And Rico should’ve been ahead going into the 12th.
The element of the unknown, the surprise factor, tends to play into the hands of the debutante.
Now, what happened to Francis against AJ should be a lesson for Rico. Once there’s tape and opponents know what to expect, the outcome can look very different.
But spare me with the boxing superiority complex. If boxers entered MMA or kickboxing, we wouldn’t even be having this discussion.
