It’s not that boxing is merely a “different” sport from kickboxing it’s that it’s an inferior, more limited one. If Rico Verhoeven had been allowed to kick, he would’ve finished Usyk in two rounds. As we saw, same cannot be said the other way around

I personally had @RicoVerhoeven and @usykaa dead even going into the 12th.
I don’t believe it was a justified stoppage and it was any man’s fight to win.
We were all robbed of one of the most exciting rounds in boxing history.
Rico could have easily continued.

@KickVideos Dutch fighters often compete internationally, Glory, has hosted events outside the Netherlands. Japanese fighters mostly stay in Japan, even if the best competition is abroad. And when they do fight outside, they often lose; Kento, Noiri, and Kaito are well-known examples
