@TylerGlaiel lol i switched ny main monitor to a 144hz one basically just to catch this type of issue. unity loves to invisibly break physics interpolation for arcane reasons

I feel like I should install / learn unity again solely so I can figure out specifically why practically every game made with it has frame pacing issues on 144hz monitors and write a blog post telling people how to fix it

@jdr____llc i agree on principle but there's something way more perverse imo about the way that training data is homogenously digested. samples etc are chosen intentionally but ai "influences" are untraceable and totally lack any respect for or awareness of the original works

How do you guys handle Keyboard button prompts in Unity (TextMeshPro) I was trying to make like a box that I could put text in by aligning it right but it kinda fucks up in other languages so I think I have to bite the bullet and make a sprite sheet of every button on QWERTY...

@Nifflas an infinite random walk in 1D or 2D will explore all positions! i don't think it makes a difference if the likelihood is higher to go in one direction vs another but i guess it might
