All the more reason for NY and other states to pass their own extreme temperature protections. We can’t just wring our hands at a court that has lost credibility. We have to pick up the fight and use all avenues to protect working people.

This is a critical and life-saving measure, but there are several potential obstacles to the standard, including the ending of Chevron Deference. All eyes on the Supreme Court as this standard goes forward.
