Wow, as I dig into the GA4 model & ad-hoc calcs, even in Data Studio, it's a different world. It's better in BQ for those like me who aren't SQL pros, but it changes strategy a lot. Seriously, everyone should evaluate GA and 1st party data goals again. Also...audiences, YES.

I feel like "Attribution is not incrementality" is poised to be the new "Correlation is not causation" catchphrase. What do you think?

@SamanthasData @Bounteous I miss the pre-talk prep & def different virtual/in-person! I remember at an #SMX in NYC when I dropped a plate of pasta on my lap 20 minutes before my session. Luckily it was the last day and I had my suitcase with me and was able to change.

@timothyjjensen Agreed about GA4! I've been skeptical about those props because of the lack of filters, so it's good to see that it might not be as big of a problem.

I don't want to give these scams more traffic/SEO, so I recommend just searching "bot" in your #GoogleAnalytics acquisition AND page path reports. There are three that I've seen that started exactly on Feb 1st generating junk data. #spam
