was abstaining from seeing the sheep detectives so i'm not putting money in #that man's pocket but my cinema pass means i get the ticket for free sooo... is it worth seeing

People who finish films for the sake of it never fail to amaze me
ree@reeyy_04
It took me 6 days to finish a 2 hour movie
English

@criterionhouse We already have original films being released (a lot of them)
English

@tjfckwowwdf @edwincal96 I don't support it, WWE just get disproportionate discredit for it
English

@sambamags @edwincal96 I love that people can't stand the sound of critique as damning as "I just don't think General Insurance is adding to the presentation" and feel compelled to support the choice as being non-unique and thusly unfair.
Like, was your Dad an advertment
English

@CMichaelonYT @edwincal96 I never said I don't think it looks shit, it's simply not a WWE only thing
English

@sambamags @edwincal96 “Every sport does this” I don’t give a fuck, it looks like shit
English

@dillongarland @JulianWks @edwincal96 I don't see what's so wildly distracting about these adverts in the first place, though. Other promotions have been doing the same for decades
English

@sambamags @JulianWks @edwincal96 Not like the WWE. A cinematic moment in sport is an accident. In WWE it’s the goal and intended outcome. When you watch a movie and there is bad product placement, people groan. If you watch baseball and see a Pepsi ad, it’s expected. It’s wildly different.
English

@dillongarland @JulianWks @edwincal96 Iconic, cinematic-esque moments happen in real sports. There are many moments in football (soccer) that are equal on grandiose to Undertaker's streak ending, and it doesn't harm those moments. Even in recent years in the WWE, iconic moments have took place with the ring ads
English

@sambamags @JulianWks @edwincal96 No other sport has characters like the WWE. There’s one thing to advertise throughout a show. But imagine the Undertaker’s Streak ending on a Dude Wipes logo.
WWE’s shift to sports presentation has made the cinematic style show that made it what it is not possible.
English

@driftedtekk @edwincal96 Those sports are all plastered with ads, it's an unfair comparison because a field is different to a mat, look at any mainstream combat sport (UFC, boxing, etc), they've been plastered with ads for years and years
English

@sambamags @edwincal96 Yeah and it’s terrible in every other sport. The difference is it’s not plastered all over the field of play in the nba, nfl, nhl, and mlb. It’s in the arena and around the field of play, but not ON it
English

@SyphroJYT @The_GM_is_God It's over 2 hours of someone who can't act walking back and forth
English

@The_GM_is_God Maybe you've never seen a bad movie in your life cuz Iron Lung was far from bad
English

A very important thing to consider here is that Iron Lung is a very bad movie

Meanwhile, one YouTuber played an indie game, made a film adaptation along side with the game's creator. Expanded/fleshed out the game's lore in the film rather than making a "reinterpretation" or "put their own spin on it" or "rewrite it to attract non-gamers".
English

@starrxoxoxxx @edwincal96 This reply makes no sense, this has nothing to do with kayfabe
English

@sambamags @edwincal96 true but it was WWE’s thing not to have sponsors on the sacred mat, so you can’t blame the fans when kayfabe is dead atp
English

@hfc_felix To some extent yes
However modern feminism is something completely different
English

Stand by the fact that all men should be feminists.
DarkHawk18@Slave18373827
@TunawithaCh Male feminists
English

‘hah! a movie where even the straights can’t fuck!’ are you fucking kidding me gay people can’t even hold hands in places all around the world without fear of being hurt killed or imprisoned
