@dubi4captain @The_Work_Area In California the commentary team said it didn't count because only the leader had crossed the line. Barely a month later it's a different call. I agree that the data and scoring loop could have been very obvious to the officials. But that's not what the viewer was told.

@The_Work_Area Picture Ryan Timms leading the Knoxville nationals by 7 seconds, he crosses the line to take the win. Then as he's going down the back straight with his arm out the side celebrating to the crowd, someone spins in turn 4 and they go back to a green white chequered and he loses it.
