Techies. What’s the hardest programming language you’ve come across?

On this Aimuj (Jumia) build journey.... This is Day 3 & Day 4 combined (for others following along). Today I worked on major parts of the system, focusing on both user, seller, and platform-level features. User side: User dashboard improvements Product → Cart → Checkout flow Search system with smart suggestions Performance and security improvements Seller side: Seller dashboard structure Seller pages and flow Core seller system setup AForce system (Affiliate / Agent layer): Referral structure setup Earnings logic foundation Agent flow architecture Admin system: Admin panel structure Core platform control setup (users, sellers, products foundation) A lot of under-the-hood work was done to improve speed, stability, and overall system behavior. When working on SaaS projects, do you build out all the features first and then add feature-gating and billing, or do you build with gating from the beginning?

@samcyprto Damn so many people claiming to be devs or ai engineers and they think this is an impossible task. You all should turn in your PCs and go do something else. The only obstacle to completing this task is the token requirement and your patience to debug

Following up on this Jumia saga, I decided to join the challenge. I can’t say I’ll be able to fully build Jumia in 2 weeks, but I’ll try and see how far I can go by God’s grace. This is Day 1 for me (Day 2 for others). I’m using Laravel for the backend, React.js for the frontend, and Inertia.js in between. Today I worked on the frontend pages, authentication system, user dashboard, and seller dashboard. Let’s see how far we go tomorrow, God willing. (Its working not just a ui concept) @akinkunmi

@mekkajoe Hmm. for Jumia pay i cant do that because of compliance etc, i will have to use paystack api (But at least the front facing logic will be like jumia pay) But, thank you for the tip.

@samcyprto As you build the storefront just remember there are other layers. managing warehouse, delivery and remember they now use jumia pay as their payment platform not intergrate with paystack or flutter wave, one more thing they staff portal too, workers have to login to gain access
