So we then poll the cloudflare worker with synchronous XHR requests in a while(true) loop to capture vibrations emitted on the other tab. Once a vibration comes in we use the captured click grant of the other tab blocked on the main thread to vibrate the device 📳.

Why use a worker? Well indexeddb & broadcastchannel are synchronous - and localstorage & cookies don't update cross-tab when a page is main-thread blocked :(
