اليوم شغلي كان Prompt engineering عمدًا خليتها للخميس عشان اروق وفعلًا مروق مرة وشعور انجاز فل الحمدلله يا رب 🤲 تخضيع gpt-oss وجعله يتخطى كل الevals شعور لا يوصف لانه مودل غثيث

@yousefrol لهم الفضل بكثير مما وصل اليه الـ AI اليوم. بالوقت اللي كانت openAI تجمع التبرعات اللي وصلتها لشكلها الحالي كانت ديب مايند كل يوم تنشر ورقة بحثية

قوقل ديب مايند سوو ماوس بالذكاء الاصطناعي تأشر على شيء معين ثم تقول حط هذا هنا وهذا افعل به كذا… ويسويها 😍

تعامل مع الـ AI في البرمجة مقرف جداً لو مش هتنفذ الخطوات دي: 1- خليه يبني ليك الـ POC في أسرع وقت عشان تعرف إذا كانت الفكرة اللي في دماغك صح ولا غلط. 2- ارمي الـ POC في الزبالة بس قبل ما ترميه في الزبالة طلع منه كل الحاجات اللي نفعت وكل الحاجات اللي ما نفعتش. واكتبها. 3- استخدم مهاراتك الهندسية في إنك أنت تعمل خطة من الألف للياء إزاي هتنفذ الكلام ده بس بشغل هندسي سليم. 4- عيد بناء حاجة حاجة لوحدها منفصلة تماماً عن المشروع ككل ولكن هي لوحدها تبقى completely isolated - منعزلة ومنفصلة تماماً - اطلب من الـ AI إن هو يبنيها..... حاجة حاجة.. أي حاجة غير الأربع نقط دول هتندم كتير جداً . لأنك أنت طول الوقت هتلاقي نفسك بتطلب من الـ AI يعمل حاجة وأنت بترجع تعيدها تاني من أول وجديد. الوقت هيتقسم النص لو نفذت الأربع خطوات دول.

this is the bottle neck of the llm based product starting with chatGpt and all others. one of the big challenges is to move away from "chat" bot UI/ behaviour and chat bot UI is the not issue by itself but it's referred to the limitations and the ( human interaction ) needs for the agent based product.

@ThePrimeagen consider that the "Applied AI","AI Engineer" and all related AI new roles (which indeed in high demand ) considered as software engineer. so I believe to role SW is fuzzy and not reflect what happen with other typical roles like BE,FE....engineers.

Is this true? Or is this just statistics?

@mznmel اني شفت شي جديد اسمه semantic spacetime وبعد مافي كثير كلام عنه او تطبيقات في مقالة مسميته SSToryrime لكن صارلي اسبوع احاول ابني POC ومبدئيا نتيجة رائعة بس ما اقدر اعطي حكم نهائي . ان كان اهتمامكم بال RAG وحصلتو وقت اطلعو عن الموضوع ممكن يغنيكم عن كثير من المشاكل اللي ذكرتها

كل من جرب بناء RAG يعرف حجم الخربطة في كل جزء Components من أجزائه، ابتداءً من الـ OCR ومروراً بالـ Embedding، إلى الـ LLM .. غير خرابيط الـ Hybrid Search وغيرها .. لدرجة إن عدد الجهات والفِرق إلي قابلناها وجالسه تعيد بناء العجلة أكثر بكثير مما يمكن تخيله .. وتكاد تكون الدروس المستفادة متكررة بينهم كلهم .. قررنا محاولة حل المشكلة من جذورها وبناء كل Components والتأكد أولاً من عمل Benchmarks حقيقية بناءً على الاستخدام المتوقع، والتأكد أن أجزاء النظام كاملة يمكن استضافتها محلياً بحسب المتوفر اليوم من قدرات معالجة .. لازالت هذه النسخة v0.01 من هذا الحل، وتقييم عملائنا الحاليين وصل إلى مرحلة رضى كبيرة فقررنا طرحه للعموم هذا الأسبوع .. والخبر الأجمل بالنسبة لنا إن تفاصيل الحل كاملة ستكون متوفرة كـ API (من خلال alAPI.deep.sa) بحيث يكون سهل لأي جهة تبني حلول داخلية الإستفادة من هذه القدرات ..

@TTrimoreau when i create the first version of any feature i don't check every line of code. but then after i get my POC and move to the enhancement i really read the majority of the code in a way or another

@GergelyOrosz The weird thing is majority of companies consider all cloud services and it's cost as something enforced to be , i mean they rarely consider to look for another solution or restructuring their solutions to reduce the costs. they almost considered the cloud services as destiny

So many things about AI infra and AI adoption today reminds me of Cloud adoption in the 2010s. Cloud is assumed to decrease business costs but later can start to actually increase it; has a years-long adoption + integration curve; the biggest winners are closer to the infra than not; it becomes a v large expense at companies to plan + budget for; customers don’t care if a company uses cloud/AI behind the scenes etc
