Exactly a year ago we announced the Rysk V12 thesis.
A year and $69.420M in TVL later I can say this has been the most incredible year.
A special thanks to the Rysk community, who showed up before the numbers did. That matters more than anything.
It was never about options.

unfortunately all good things must come to an end & my time at @ripdotfun has now come to an end
wishing all the best to @notobscur & @softwarecurator, was crazy how fast these mfers shipped (faster than 90% of the rest of ct) & was a lot of fun, hoping we can continue to work together more in the future
forever grateful for my time at rip, allowed me to;
- meet some of the most based investors in the space (lotta love for the @Maven11Capital lads)
- host some v cool lowkey events & activations in argentina & cannes
- tick off two US state visits as i helped coordinate our inaugural irl tournament alongside NAIC & ripped packs in the warehouse
feeling v blessed for the time i spent at rip!

I have been a Hyperliquid User since December 2023 and I’ve always wanted to give something back to the team and especially @chameleon_jeff. He built something so incredible and exciting that I’ll be telling my grandkids about it! Here is my 59-page research paper about Hyperliquid and why it will become 'The Blockchain to House all Finance'. Since the file is too large to upload directly, I’m sharing the Google Drive link. Hey Hedge, hope you’re good mate, just to clear a few things up:
1. We sold out the original club sale before our seed round. Chris Smalling and Shaun Wright-Phillips weren’t involved at that point.
2. Chris is still an investor and follows along with regular updates, he’s just a very busy man who’s still playing football!
3. Shaun never invested in Footium. He joined as a player pre-launch because he was interested in the product, but we haven’t caught up with him in a while!
And now Berbatov is joining as both a player and an investor, and he’s genuinely excited about where the product is going 🙂

As a boyhood United fan who idolised Berba, last week was one of those surreal moments where you feel very lucky that you get to do this job. I’ll never forget that hat-trick vs Liverpool, he was that guy for me growing up! I’ve been lucky enough to meet a few footballers through work, but this was different straight away. Before we even started snapping content, he spent a good 30 minutes going through the game, asking questions, giving feedback, and talking about what he’d love to see added. That’s what made it so special - it was someone I’ve looked up to taking real interest in what we’re building. He gave us far more time than we expected and jumped into every idea we threw at him! (Some fun content coming tomorrow, be ready 👀) His passion for gaming and Footium is real, and he’s genuinely coming in as a player first, investor second! Now I’m fully locked in trying to win that Mini League and get that signed shirt 😅
