Overall I give it a 6/10 it was decent. I'm absolutely tired of seeing frank second guessing himself about being the punisher. He's done that 3 times already and to have only a minute with his vest was just insulting, like come the hell on dude. He's also way too emotional.

The og gow game combats were not even in the league of DMCs and you live in a delusional world where this fixed camera button masher is better than black myth's combat ? Lol that game got sold to the levels that Santa Monica can't even achieve even if they did 10 more gow games. Back in 2010 the game already got thrashed for being the most mundane and cliched hack and slash mechanics and got nearly canceled by gamers universally by the time of ascension, there is a reason why they had to reboot the entire system and genre, there is no way they are doing a remake to go 10 years back in time. Santa Monica is not a fan service studio, they are no way delivering the last of us type of remake with just upgraded graphics and adding little more to the outdated combat, if they are selling it for $70, there is definitely new system to it. And it won't make sense for them to have Greek/Norse style to the remake as it won't suit today's narrative standards of story games.

@VSynd7 @SynthPotato why would they change the combat? They are literally going back to the Greek era, if they want a brand new combat system, it would make sense to do that with Egypt. Greece: old school hack and slash Norse: over the shoulder semi rpg beat em up. And whatever Egypt is gonna be.

Also black myths combat was average at best, nothing compared to god of war. Also something that's not Greek/Norse combat wouldn't make sense unless it's Egypt.

No, new system, new tech definitely refers to something that's not Greek/Norse games style. The fixed camera style is extremely outdated and clunky. Especially having to compete with games like black myth, they have to update themselves to stay in the market globally. This ain't a fan service anymore.

Well no. When “fans of the source material” want the characters to be adapted accurately, that would ideally mean that they would want their personality or essence to be faithful and understanding of the original source. And 9 times out of 10, if the character is white, then that’s irrelevant to the personality/essence. People didn’t like the character of say, Nick Fury BECAUSE he was white, hence why the most iconic version of the character was casted with Samuel Jackson.

But I feel like both complaints are valid even though care about one over the other. Two sides of the same coin. Hulk in the MCU as an example.
