Barnier says the Brexit talks are an ‘extraordinarily complex negotiation’. Says his role is to negotiation on behalf of EU 27 & he’s not a mediator. Sounds like a reply to Arlene Foster’s honest broker comment.

Taoiseach again says there needs to be ‘meaningful progress’ on border issue by June EUCO or it will be difficult to get Withdrawal Agreement in place by October.
