@SalSports Wait so what is the change? You still cover the bills on wgr but they have a different sideline reporter? Not up to date

For the last 12 years, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to be the sideline reporter on the Buffalo Bills Radio Network via WGR/Audacy. As many of you know, there will be a change. While I won’t be serving in that role moving forward, I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity I’ve had over those years to cover this team from such a unique perspective on game day. To everyone in the Bills organization, and my radio colleagues - I’ll miss being with you on the field and in the booth, but thankful for the long-lasting friendships and relationships we’ve built. To you, Bills fans and listeners everywhere - I can’t thank you all enough for the love, support, and trust you always place in me. It’s never something I take for granted, and it will continue to motivate me moving forward! With that said, I’m excited to keep doing what I love and where I love doing it - covering the Buffalo Bills every day on WGR, and continuing to bring you the news, insight, and stories surrounding the team, alongside an amazing team at WGR and Audacy! I’ll still be at every game, home and away, and can’t wait to see and talk to so many of you once again this season! Thank you for the love. ❤️💙

@DaIeJohnson Other countries did pay the tariffs. The US is having to refund some of those tariff monies, but it was originally paid to the US by those countries.

@WayneMathison @alleria_eh Wayne, you are a national treasure of common sense. And the worst kind of Liberal critic (for Liberals)...one who is articulate, knowledgeable and not afraid to rebut their paper-thin arguments.

That “fact check” is economic cosplay. You don’t “adjust gasoline by CPI” and declare the debate over. Gas is not a couch, a haircut, or a basket of groceries. It is a globally traded commodity affected by crude prices, refining capacity, currency exchange, transport costs, taxes, fuel standards, and government policy. Poilievre’s point is simple: if oil is around the same world price as 2014, but pump prices are much higher, then you ask what changed in the cost stack. And one obvious answer is policy. Ottawa itself admits the federal fuel excise tax is worth 10 cents per litre on regular gasoline, which is why Carney temporarily suspended it. That is not “inflation.” That is tax. The consumer carbon tax also added 17.6 cents per litre before Carney scrapped it, and gasoline prices dropped after its removal. Again: not magic. Not CPI. Policy. Then there is the Clean Fuel Regulations cost, estimated by the Parliamentary Budget Officer at up to 16–17 cents per litre by 2030, with roughly 7 cents per litre cited for 2026. So no, this isn’t a “gotcha.” It’s a spreadsheet wearing a clown nose. Inflation matters. Obviously. But pretending inflation explains everything is how you protect bad policy from scrutiny. The real question is not whether prices rose over time. The real question is: how much of the rise was made worse by taxes, regulations, weak productivity, a weaker dollar, and anti-energy policy? That’s the part they don’t want to calculate. Because once you calculate it, the Liberal talking point falls apart like wet cardboard.

🚨Fact check: Poilievre claims gas was $1.38/L in 2014 with $100 oil but now costs $1.83 at the same price and is blaming policy. Adjusting $1.38 for Canada's roughly 32% cumulative CPI inflation from 2014-2026 equals roughly $1.82 today, matching current prices. The comparison ignores basic inflation; prices align when adjusted for time.
Scott Robertson@sarobertson_

POILIEVRE: "Oil is high. It's about $100 a barrel. You know when it was last $100 a barrel? In 2014. And you know what the gas price was then? A buck thirty-eight. Forty-five cents cheaper. Even though the world oil price was exactly what it is today."

Dear Coach McDermott, Thank you. Thank you for taking over a franchise that was broken long before you arrived — and refusing to let it stay that way. Thank you for walking into Buffalo when hope felt fragile, when the playoff drought felt permanent, and when being a Bills fan meant bracing for disappointment. You didn’t just win games. You restored pride. You broke the drought before Josh Allen ever became Josh Allen. You taught this team how to work, how to believe, how to carry itself. You built a culture that mattered — one rooted in accountability, humility, and toughness. For the first time in a long time, the Buffalo Bills felt stable. They felt respected. They felt like a real organization again. You were a leader of men. Players trusted you. Fans trusted you. Families trusted you with something that mattered deeply to them. You felt like more than a coach — you felt like family. Like the uncle who shows up every year, does things the right way, and gives everything he has even when it’s not easy. We know football is a results business. We know the standard changes when you find a quarterback like Josh Allen. But that doesn’t erase what you gave, or how hard this is to accept. It doesn’t erase the 98 wins, the playoff nights, the belief, or the sense that for once… the Bills were safe in good hands. This ending hurts because it mattered. Because you mattered. No matter what comes next — for you or for this team — know this: Buffalo won’t forget what you did here. You helped heal something. You gave us years we’ll never take for granted. Thank you for the stability. Thank you for the dignity. Thank you for the culture. Once a Bill, always a Bill. With gratitude and respect, #BillsMafia

Sean McDermott's goal was to get this team to the Super Bowl and in that he failed. But McDermott embraced Buffalo like he was born and raised there. He coached his players with high expectations, but also showed care and compassion for them as people. While Josh Allen is the Bills shining star, I always felt Sean McDermott was its soul. That will be hard to replace

@kurt13warner @Kalboys @BuffaloBills @Broncos But then how does this get explained from Pats/Texans today? Receiver gets stripped of the ball (defender's arm engaged with the ball) but the called fumble is overturned and ruled a catch and down by contact. That seems the opposite to yesterday.

@Kalboys @BuffaloBills @Broncos Yes but since he was “going to the ground” on the catch - he has to have the ball all the way through the ground & that’s what allowed DB to steal it! If he wasn’t going to ground on catch he’s down by contact!

There is the old adage “more games are lost than won”, after watching the tape back of @BuffaloBills @Broncos that adage holds up once again! This is not taking anything away from DEN who earned win & not saying there weren’t a few tough calls against them… but so many mistakes and missed opportunities by Bills that they will be another team sick after watching the tape (if they do)!!

Don, can you point to *one single word* from the NDP criticizing the brutal Chavez-Maduro dictatorship over the past 25 years? How about: - One word condemning what the entire democratic world recognized as stolen Venezuelan elections in 2019 and 2024? - One word condemning the arbitrary arrest and imprisonment of Venezuelan opposition leaders? - One word condemning the Maduro regime’s appalling violations of human rights? - One word of concern for the humanitarian catastrophe that turned one of the richest countries in the world into one of the poorest, forcing ~9 million Venezuelans to flee? The truth is that the left in Canada, including the NDP, have always been cheerleaders for the “warm collectivism” of “Bolivarian socialism,” to your party’s great shame. This weekend tens of thousands of Canadians who came here as refugees from Venezuela are going to be dancing with joy. I encourage you to go and meet some of them, and tell them that the NDP wants el caudillo Nicholas Maduro returned to power.
Don Davies@DonDavies

If true, this is a flagrant breach of international law and the rules-based system the US claims to support. Canada must strongly condemn it and call for the immediate cessation of aggression by the US against the sovereign state of Venezuela.

Denver escaped on the road against Kansas City playing its third string QB. Jacksonville escaped on the road in overtime against the 3-8 Cardinals a few weeks ago. New England escaped on the road against the Ravens, playing Tyler Huntley majority of the game. This makes me feel a lot better about the #Bills win on the road over the Browns. #BillsMafia

@veritas_11 @60_glg @Bonsie1951 Our recent national poll asked Canadians whether an MP that crosses the floor must resign and run in a by-election. 54% believe the MP should resign and trigger a by-election. 26% opposed the idea, while 20% weren't sure.

@60_glg @Bonsie1951 Having a byelection every time an MP wants to change the floor would be more democratic than just letting them do what they want without the constituents' voices being heard. The current political landscape is merely putting a spotlight on a flawed system.

@pollingcanada There's also a looming question re: methodology. It would appear that door to door was employed. Given the potential for drastic skews in support in subregions within riding, where they went (and did they cover the whole riding) would have a big impact on the data.

This is 1. Not an actual explanation, both weighted and unweighted frequencies should be displayed if this is in fact true and 2. The weights/Error section doesn't at all say this
Lucas Timmons@lucastimmons

@pollingcanada The 69 per cent and 59 per cent are unweighted subgroup results. The 55 per cent overall is a weighted average that accounts for the actual age/gender balance in the riding's population. It took like 5 seconds if you actually read the documents. Literally page 2.
