@TimJayas Same. Here's my text chat only. Zero uploads or parsing code but just a casual chit chat in the browser for about 15 min with Gemini 3.1 Pro. 85% of 5 hour limit used. I used to bounce ideas off Gemini Pro non-stop for many hours and never be able to hit a limit.

If this is true Google I/O was an event about rendering the Gemini app and the Gemini Pro account utterly hostile and unusable 😳😬 How did we go from "chat freely" to "be afraid to ask 2 questions". That cannot possibly be tenable

@_mohansolo Is this permanent? If it's just a temporary bump to reduce the bad press and help make Google I/O look like a positive event and not an event entirely built around crafted restrictions, then the product is still unappreciable and this action would be more of a distraction.

Yesterday, we 3x’d limits on Antigravity and are seeing you build so much more. One thing we heard was people are worried about hitting their weekly limits after a couple work sessions. To give you more runway, we’re 3x’ing the weekly Gemini quotas AGAIN on all paid plans.
We’ve also gone ahead and reset Gemini quotas on all paid plans. Don’t stop building!

@brianmccormick I was just thinking about this the other day. Practice becomes a way to create movement to make time pass, and not to have focused learning, because focus is bad now, and chaos is the only scientific backed learning strategy.

So many practice activities posted on socials just look like camp games/drills when you have an 8-hr day, 10 players per basket & the goal is to keep players busy. 🤷♂️
I just can't see doing 90% of these in a serious practice/training session.
