Problem with niggas today is that mfs are more obsessed with “their potential” than they are with their POTENCY.
Understand:
The problem today is WORSHIP OF POTENTIAL: an imaginary future self that never acts.
The unremarkable OBSESS over it while their real power decays.
In reality, POTENCY is the only measure.
The athlete’s genetics, the genius’s IQ, the golden child’s inheritance… all mean nothing without the will to act. Weak men choke on their gifts while stronger men, born with less, rise to the top because their will is so potent it can bend reality.
I reject potential. It is the excuse of the lazy.
The man who cannot go to the gym, who cannot stop watching porn, who cannot drop weed… his potential is inert, and falls through his hands like grains of sand.
Fuck potential.
INCREASE POTENCY.
STRENGTHEN WILL.
and Reality will become your humble servant.
Namaste.

If you're wanting to become a morning person, but for whatever reason you can't seem to commit, you need to be automating as many steps as possible.
Hang your gym clothes on the radiator the night before.
Prep your breakfast the night before.
Fill your bottle, grind your coffee.
Do as much as you can, the night before.
Then when you wake up, you can float through the process with the least resistance, and attain the results you desire.

@samstnes Makes sense. If I don't walk for the first 30 seconds or so of the recovery part, I feel like the effort accumulation and increased heart rate prevents me from having quality intervals, especially in the later stages of the workout. Need to work more on my endurance I guess

During prep I make sure I’m always at least jogging, but if i’m not actively training for anything then I’ll occasionally walk if I need to!
I think slowing down too quickly can create unnecessary stopping force on the shins and knees which i’m really cautious about, i just slow down gradually, catch my breath a bit then slowly increase speed to my usual *easy* pace before the next rep
