@GylesB1 @YouTube @acast @Spotify @ApplePodcasts What an absolute pleasure to watch this weeks Rosebud. I have been hoping for so long that you would ask Sir Derek to come on to the podcast. I love his work and have read his autobiography which was a wonderful read. Looking as sprightly as ever sir. Well done Rosebud team.

Do watch this on @YouTube - Derek Jacobi is a complete delight. If you’re into theatre and people (& don’t mind seeing grown men cry!) this really is a MUST must-watch.
rosebudpodcast.co.uk on @acast @spotify @ApplePodcasts & the rest & now on YouTube every week.

@GylesB1 @therosebudpod I've adored Derek for years, from I, Claudius, BBC's Hamlet, Last Tango in Halifax, Doctor Who and Vicious, to name but a few and omit so many. Wonderful actor, and, by all accounts a thoroughly nice man, too.

@TracyBorman @HRP_palaces Shouldn’t that have been Henry’s 4th wife, Anne of Cloves 🤣

Did you know that Katherine Parr was the sweetest-smelling of Henry VIII’s wives? And while staying at #hamptoncourt for Christmas, she had her chambers scented with cloves 🎄hrp.org.uk/blog/inside-th… @HRP_palaces

@therosebudpod @GylesB1 @harrietjaine Well, what can I say? What a wonderful afternoon’s entertainment at the Garrick Theatre today. Laughed loads and also brought to tears a couple of times. And, loved the Rob Wilton section, great trip down memory lane. Well done everyone 😊

@GylesB1 @therosebudpod What a tonic for a Tuesday morning. I have literally been LOL’ing, trouble is I listened to it through headphones, so I must have sounded like a loon wandering round Tesco.
Brilliant episode 🤣🤪

@Lucy_Worsley That’s strange, we’ve just been watching the 1988 series of Lion,the witch and the wardrobe. My wife used to watch it when she was a child, and now watching it with our 7 year old son. Pud looks yummy 🤤
English

@Lucy_Worsley @zoelaughlin Yeah, we did too. We order our haggis from Crombies of Edinburgh, but we had cranachan. I have found a recipe for Cranachan cheesecake that sounds intriguing. Want Edinburgh fog now 😋
English

Did you have haggis or anything else Burns-Nighty for dinner yesterday? We did, plus the delicious creamy pudding Edinburgh Fog, the whiskey-flavoured version. And the multi-talented and magnificent @zoelaughlin played the bagpipes!

@therosebudpod @GylesB1 @MichaelRosenYes What a thoroughly enjoyable listen. Just when I think a podcast series couldn’t get any better, you slip in another little gem. I could listen to @MichaelRosenYes read the telephone directory and be completely captivated.
English

Do you need something wonderful to listen to at bedtime? This episode of Rosebud with @MichaelRosenYes and @GylesB1 will do the trick.

@ProfDavidWilson I cannot thank you enough for the recent excellent podcast about the Peasenhall murder case. I was intrigued about 30 years ago about this crime, and visited Peasenhall, and saw Providence House and surrounding areas. Looking forward to the next episode 😊
