I’ve been with my boyfriend for 5 years. He’s 36. From day one, he promised me marriage and said I’m the one who will mother his children.
Because of that, I gave him everything. For 4 years, I’ve basically become his house help. I spend weekends (and some weekdays) at his place washing his heavy clothes by hand, scrubbing floors, and cooking soups to stock his freezer.
I even travel to his village every planting and harvest season to work on his mother’s farm under the hot sun, just to prove I’m “wife material.”
Yesterday broke me 💔. After washing a mountain of clothes and cooking until my body ached, my mum called needing urgent help. I told him I’d return the next day to iron, but he got angry and called me lazy. He said I’m not ready for marriage because I couldn’t iron after everything I’d done. He showed no concern for my tiredness or my mum’s needs.
Now planting season is here again. I told him I can’t travel because I have a professional exam I’ve already paid for, my future is on the line. He said if I don’t go, I should forget the relationship. He called me weak, disrespectful, and not “submissive” enough to be a wife.
I’m tired. I feel like a servant, not a partner. But I’m 28 and have given him 5 years of my life. Starting over scares me. How do I make him change, or is it time to walk away after everything I’ve invested? 😔

Fifty has a point... 50 Cent says, "My son Marquise is 27 and still asking for child support.
I give him $10,800 monthly, but he says it's not enough." "Success cost me my relationship with Marquise.
At 27, he should be ashamed to ask for child support. He thinks being 50 Cent's son means he doesn't have to work.
I offered to set up a business for him to earn $1 million a month, but he refused. He has an entitlement mentality, thinking my money is his.
It hurts to see him so irresponsible. I keep saying this publicly, hoping he'll be ashamed and start working. No matter how rich you are, never let your kids feel your money belongs to them."

Chizorom Ofoegbu, popularly known as Ijele speaks, while speaking on a recent interview with Gbam podcast, disclosed that he is the one who leaked the location of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to the Nigeria National Intelligence Agency (NIA), which resulted in his extradition to Nigeria in 2022.
According to Ijele, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB stepped on his toes by conspiring against him, saying he is into human trafficking in turkey, which according to him is not true. He noted that the conspiracy by IPOB against him is what made him swore, he is going to destroy Nnamdi Kanu whichever way possible.
He explained that he was monitoring Nnamdi Kanu wherever he went during that period, which forced Nnamdi Kanu to change his location frequently..
Ijele concluded that he is ever ready to eliminate Mazi Nnamdi Kanu even if he eventually comes out from prison alive.

Nine-year-old Tiernan McCready was walking home from football in Derry when he saw something that didn’t feel right.
Nearby, three men were trying to force an 18-year-old girl into a van.
Most people would have frozen in fear.
Tiernan didn’t.
Even though he was scared, the young boy started shouting and ran closer to the scene, drawing attention to what was happening. The sudden noise and interruption caused the men to panic and flee.
The girl was able to escape.
Tiernan then helped her get to safety and alerted his mother so the police could be called.
Later, Tiernan admitted he had been frightened the entire time, but said he knew he could not just stand there and do nothing.
Police praised the boy’s quick thinking and courage, saying his actions may have prevented a much more serious outcome.
To recognize what he did, officers presented Tiernan with a badge of bravery.
Despite the attention, the young boy remained humble and said he hopes to become a police officer one day so he can continue helping people.
Sometimes the biggest acts of courage come from the smallest heroes.
