A number of great accounts popping up 1. @UKGovscan - Independent transparency project. 2. @GreatBritishTT - Data-driven analysis of UK gov spending. 3. @UKDecline - Keeping track of the UK's spiralling decline statistics. 4. @HoTPOfficial - Vote on every bill and law ever debated in Parliament. Send others you know of, I am keeping a list. Pimp and share - data is a weapon.

We may never know who introduced Takuya Nakamura to UK Jungle music, after moving from Tokyo to Boston to study Jazz theory - but I, for one, am very grateful.

@wulfsagemakes Preach! I feel like a parrot on this one. It's a terrible UX which is only accepted because we all want to use the new tech. Just look at AI capex vs actual profits. They are just milking the gravy train.

Credits is just the most insufferable business model. Just charge money and let me use your tool, im not "topping up" in the middle of tasks like im using a prepaid sim on a nokia 3310, which tbh is a far superior product to yours anwyay.

Fatherhood is the end of philosophy. you can read every book ever written about meaning and purpose and discipline, but the moment a small human looks at you and believes you, everything you thought you knew burns down. because now you have to do it, not think it, not debate it, not post about it. the child watches your hands, what you do when you are tired, what you do when you are mad, what you do when nobody else is looking. that is your only sermon and you cannot fake it for one day because children are bullshit detectors made of flesh. if you are a weak man your son will know it before he can spell the word weak, and he either becomes you or becomes the opposite of you, both out of desperation.

Everything has changed for designers. @jenny_wen nailed it here. — Designers must now ship code — Working prototypes are the new spec — Execution is cheap, taste is the new gold — Taste + ability to direct AI = the new elite designer
Tommy Geoco@designertom

Is the UX design role as we know it becoming outdated? @jenny_wen has lived this transition firsthand. She designed FigJam at Figma, then moved to Anthropic to work on Claude. In our latest State of Play conversation, she shares what that shift taught her about the future of design. If you work in design, product, or anywhere at the intersection of people and AI tooling, this one's worth your time. New State of Play episode out now: youtube.com/watch?v=b2RNdu…

2012: figma makes design collaborative. 2026: still clicking through admin panels... everyone's racing to connect design<>code, but nobody's automating the workspace around it. i built an open source cli and mcp that lets agents manage and operate in your figma workspace -- runs locally, with Claude Code, Cursor and OpenClaw. one message runs a full workspace audit, finds wasted seats, offboards a user. files transferred, access revoked, removed from the org. chores that eat hours a month across dozens of workspace ui pages, automated, parallelized, and done in seconds by an agent. no clicking around, just intent → execution. @figma you guys spent a decade making design collaborative. Now it's time to make it a playground for agents.

I just shipped Interfaces DS (beta) — a design system built on top of @shadcn /ui. The difference is in the details. Every component has been tweaked to reflect my own aesthetic sensibility. The core is free and open source. Data viz components are coming next. Would love for you to try it and tell me what's missing → interfacesds.com

Bible sales in the United States just hit a 21 year high... So why are more people turning back to religion? To help answer that question, today I’m joined by Christian apologist Wesley Huff. Wesley is a historian who studies the historical reliability of the Bible and the evidence surrounding the life of Jesus. Much of his work focuses on ancient manuscripts and the historical case for Christianity. He spends his time debating sceptics and asking a simple question - what does the historical record actually say? I wanted to speak to Wesley because these are questions I’ve personally wrestled with for years. I grew up in a Christian household. When I was about eighteen, I was pulled into the new atheist movement after reading people like Richard Dawkins and Sam Harris. Since then, I’ve found myself in a different place. Curious and still asking a lot of questions.
