@KalshiSports @goal Maybe they should just sell the team and use the money to pay off their debts. I hear the owners are getting threatened with galamsey otherwise

@KentePepper @KofiPhD Pretty sure the only reason anyone is prioritizing Chinese over Twi or even Arabic is because the Chinese have purposefully been trying to erase our culture the whole time they are here.

The new Ghanaian education curriculum now includes Arabic and Chinese as subjects. Yet, long‑standing calls to make Twi or another Ghanaian lang. compulsory have been ignored. This is a misplaced priority that elevates foreign languages: a win for the communists & terrorists!

@GHANANEWSAGENCY We will never truly get rid of child poverty as long as we allow Chinese companies to continue to discrimate Ghanaians out of jobs. That is why they are the ones pushing all the children into poverty so they can import more and more of their own children

@MichaelAny5376 @nick_nii_sai Wontumi is just one of many local galamsey players. The real issue is the Chinese who are behind most of the galamsey in Ghana. That's why they are the ones making all the money off of it

@Bhova2025 @Judaeda3 This is because galamsey is so widespread that there is no gold that is actually Ghanian anymore. Its all being exported en masse.

Samson Anyenini takes.. Pray - I want to go into coconut farming. I don't want any bare virgin "farmable" land anywhere in Ghana. I don't want to pay any chief or family for such land or share proceeds with them. I am looking for a damaged mining concession that needs expensive reclamation. I will grow my coconut there, and share the proceeds with the concession holder. Yeah, it doesn't matter that I am reclaiming the land free of charge.

@SciencetistT We should be getting a ton of benefits from gold and other minerals sales. Instead all of it is being stolen by the Chinese. Not only are they stealing the gold but they are also somehow getting away with destroying the land that the gold was in

@O_Kantinka @Nurapost Ghana is already one of the most frauded countries in Africa. We don't need any more fraud. Especially not by Chinese companies who are already taking over the country through their galamsey

@qwame_frimpong You are 100% correct. We are losing our sovereignty to the Chinese. It is time for us to take a stand and reclaim it before it is too late. We need to boycott all chinese goods and stop any further trade with them

@ITheAdvocate The more we see how they are abusing the rest of Africa the more we need to distance ourselves from them. We need to keep them from becoming our colonies too. We need to keep our jobs, our resources, and our future from being stolen

@BirdGuides This is such a cool discovery but it reminds me that we need to work even harder to protect our own wildlife habitats from the impact of galamsey. Birds like this are going to starve if they come to Ghana anytime soon
