Tonight we had Emma from the @TheRSC deliver some training to our English teachers on creative ways of teaching Shakespeare. Some of the best CPD I’ve ever had and reminds me why investing in staff is so, so important. Thank you!

This is my fifth year teaching Macbeth to y8 and NOTHING beats the reveal of Macduff being “untimely ripped” from his mother’s womb!! Nothing!! The gasps, the shock, the same discussion each year about who was a Caesarean baby and could defeat Macbeth 🥰

Wow… We’ve been blown away by the response to our Cancer Coffee Morning with Chesterfield FC legend Tony Lormor. Nearly 300 students turned up to hear him speak and to ask questions about his battle with cancer and the impact it had on his family and friends. @spireitestrust

Tonight’s weather is perfect for holding your rescue cat up to the window as a gentle reminder of just how good he has it in your house (especially in a cost of living crisis)
