This is a big deal. Second time in a day I'll say it: every scientist has a line beyond which they won't stay silent. Even editors. Bravo, @NEJM. nejm.org/doi/full/10.10…

Hey #MedTwitter, what are some of your best tips for managing journal articles you come across while scrolling through your Twitter feed?

This is a lie. Any “major hospital” that does surgery has more than 2 ventilators. But just because hospitals have them at baseline doesn’t mean they have enough ventilators when there is a sudden increase in demand.

Trump: "I don't believe you need 40,000 or 30,000 ventilators. You know, you go into major hospitals sometimes and they'll have two ventilators. Now all of a sudden they're saying, 'Can we order 30,000 ventilators?'"

@nanglish @SarahSears Thanks so much for responding! You made our day. We had been driving around southeast PA saying “go iggles, you dirt!” trying to get into Philly accents.

@nanglish Question: my wife and I noticed that you’ve used the phrase “you dirt” in a Doughboys show and in Pawnsylvania. Is this a Philadelphia phrase? @SarahSears #nanggang
