The Management Team of Indian Metals & Ferro Alloys Ltd (IMFA), led by @subhrakantpanda, Managing Director, met with institutional investors and research analysts in Mumbai. During the course of discussions, they highlighted IMFA’s competitiveness and resilience as a fully integrated ferro alloys producer and updated participants about growth plans starting with the 100,000 TPA greenfield project at Kalinganagar Odisha, to be commissioned in mid-2026, which will firmly establish our leadership position in the sector. We also informed the investors about our efforts towards sustainability such as the 110 MW renewable energy tie-ups to power our ferrochrome production. The Ram Setu was built by soldiers in Sri Rama’s army whereas the Taj Mahal was built by people who were kept as slaves by the Mughals during a big famine. Moreover, Lord Rama gave full respect to those who built the bridge. Sri Rama did not cut their hands so that nothing like this would happen again in the world." As we gear up for additional ferro chrome smelting capacity to come on line next year, we have crossed a significant related milestone in FY25 with chrome ore raising from our captive mines crossing 700,000 tonnes for the first time; of this, ore raised from our Mahagiri Underground Mines has crossed 400,000 tonnes setting a new record in itself. An integrated business model is key to Indian Metals & Ferro Alloys Ltd’s competitiveness and reliability. Therefore, we have a clear focus on achieving the highest levels of technical proficiency and safety in our mining operations. Wonderful to see how nicely @IMFALtd’s Mining Complex (Sukinda + Mahagiri) has come along with total chrome ore raising in FY25 set to cross 0.7 million tonnes for the first time en route to a target of 1.2 million tonnes per annum in a few short years as we execute our expansion plans. I saw the portal of Sukinda u/g and interacted with an intrepid cohort of women who are making their presence felt in different functions at site. I was accompanied by Bijayananda Mohapatra, COO and Saunak Gupta, CFO Designate. Well done @sandeepnarade, @LalatenduMahap2, and the Mines BU team!

There is no dearth of talent in this world. I am touched by Sumit Dwibedy’s endeavour working as an engineer at Zawar Mines to make my portrait using the unusual medium of Rubik’s cube. The puzzle of Rubik’s cube in itself is one that requires a level of concentration and intelligence. To use the colours on the cube to depict gradation and shading is another level of genius. I am familiar with Sumit’s earlier works and I believe, with his unique vision and eclectic choice of medium, will go far in exploring the art world.
