@bbclaurak Enough now.
You have been destabilising our governments in the name of ‘journalism’ for years. Starmer has a clear mandate.

@bbclaurak I don’t think Laura K is pushing him very hard but so far I’d say this is a prince Andrew interview. Car crash TV

@Peston Nonsense Róbert more and more hard working families are being dragged in to this tax. It was taxed when it was earned and for most folks it’s house price inflation that’s causing the problem. Mostpay mortgages for well over 25 years to leave something behind for family not govt.

If Sunday Times is correct that Sunak wants to abolish inheritance tax, this quote in its scoop from a government insider is just priceless, by way of justification for the tax cull: “a lot of people don’t know that they won’t pay it”. The point, which this government adviser thinks few people know, is that the tax is only payable on estates worth more than £1m, for most families. So the PM would be campaigning to give a tax break for a minority, predominantly in London and the rich south, but his colleagues apparently think the vast majority won’t notice

Powerful and brutally honest. This should be required reading for everyone at Govt and NHSE, from @MattHancock and @keithridge1 downwards

@DHSCgovuk A mortgage around the neck of an industry that we know is on its knees and will not be able to repay. Words chosen very carefully “I have made available £300m” technically correct and practically useless

We're supporting community pharmacies that are providing vital medicines and advice to people during the #coronavirus outbreak with £300 million of funding.

@GPpharmacist1 @BBCBreaking @Channel4News @SkyNews If government and NHSE get their way it will be smaller by 3000 when the next crises comes. Queues outside pharmacies now, I dread to think what it will be like next time. #saveourpharmacies

@MattHancock A complete fudge. Not a single penny of new money to support the teams working at the front line of our communities. It’s a pay day loan, the global sum has not changed. An unaffordable mortgage around the neck of an industry that’s already on its knees.

@bbcquestiontime @MattHancock @YvetteCooperMP @JohnSentamu The £300m for community pharmacy is a complete fudge. It’s only pharmacy money paid slightly early. Why will Mr Hancock not support those supporting the very front line of our communities

On Question Time tonight at 8pm are @MattHancock, @YvetteCooperMP, Donna Kinnair and @JohnSentamu.
We have no studio audience during the coronavirus emergency. If you have a question tell us below ⬇️ and we'll put your comments to the panel. #bbcqt

@bbcquestiontime @MattHancock @YvetteCooperMP @JohnSentamu Matt Hancock said he has made £300m available to Comminity Pharmacy. Government has taken more than £200m from pharmacy funding in 2 years. It’s on its knees. The £300m is not new money it comes from the global sum. Why won’t he support real front line healthcare workers?

A £300m repayable loan of our own money thinly disguised as a cash injection from government is a disgrace. @MattHancock @NHSEngland
You clap, thank & praise the pharmacy teams which serve our community on the front line whilst working behind the scenes to put them out of business

English

@Peston @MattHancock Global sum for pharmacy is exactly the same no new money to support the front line. Government has removed >£200m for community pharmacy in last 2 years. It’s going to fall over. They have been warned
English

Blimey. @MattHancock writes off £13.4bn of NHS trusts’ debt, so they are not too financially constrained in tackling this crisis
English

@Peston @MattHancock Hancock says he’s made £300m available to community pharmacy. It’s a pay day loan >52% of pharmacies in England running at a loss (EY report) industry is on its knees. Hancock gives pharmacy it’s own money early placing a huge mortgage on its future. Shocking
