Actor Tom Hardy took his adopted dog Woody to the screening of one of his movies to promote animal adoption. Tom has stated in several interviews that buying animals is immoral because it promotes cruelty towards animals through forced breeding. Tom often visits shelters to help volunteers, visits and cares for rescue dogs, and talks about breeding and abandonment issues in different mediums. Do like Tom, ADOPT A DOG!

@LizKershawDJ Still miss Steve Wright now. I only listened to Radio 2 for his show - not for the music but for him and his crew. Have you noticed how most hosts are now celebrities and not dj’s at all? Couldn’t care less about box ticking if the product is good. But it clearly isn’t.

BBC Music Radio managers killed Steve Wright. Just as they did (by unceremoniously dumping) Paul O'Grady and Janice Long etc. Yes. Of course. Nobody has a job for life. But a bit of gratitude and post-service pastoral care wouldn't go amiss. And btw.. this has resulted in slashing Radio2 audiences. And all in the quest for box-ticking so they'd achieve the 20% "diversity" quotas to get their bonuses - Honestly...Just check out who replaced these much loved presenters. And these are the same 6 figure-salaried managers who allowed Bob Vylan to go out unchecked at Glastonbury while Kneecap were banned. The difference? Exactly. We have to ask what their agenda is. @anniesMCR I’m very sorry to read this. The couple of times we’ve been to the Coronation Street tour we’ve been to Annie’s. The food was fantastic and we really enjoyed the whole experience. Good luck to everyone involved in the restaurant.
