Here’s a look at the updated standings at the men’s world curling championship. Canada was 2-2 after four games. Have rattled off five-straight wins. And are now locked in a four-way tie at 7-2. Those top-two spots are important as it puts you directly in the semifinal.

@Stevengolfer @MarcNixon24 And yet our economy is almost in recession, GDP per capita falling, productivity falling, entrepreneurs and their money leaving in droves and debt skyrocketing. But wow we don’t like the other guy.

@MarcNixon24 Yes, it would have been better for Pierre if Carney had stayed in Italy a bit longer, because every time Carney is at Question Period, Canrney makes Pierre and the CPC look like the amateurs that they are. The latest polls have Carney and the LPC at over 210 seats.

@sandy0696 @RonaAmbrose @PierrePoilievre very little new pipeline capacity was actually built during Stephen Harper’s time as PM (2006–2015)—and none of the big, high-profile “to tidewater” pipelines were completed.

So true. @PierrePoilievre is intelligent, thoughtful and down to earth. That’s the Pierre we’ve all known for years: a Prime Minister in waiting whose time can’t come soon enough. When Canada will experience the bold policy changes that will turn our economy around and set us on a path to prosperity.
Lyle Stewart@LyleStewart55

Many Canadians if they watch Pierre Poilievre’s interviews with Joe Rogan in Texas and Bloomberg in New York will find out the MSM in Canada, the Liberal marketing team, has been absolutely lying to them about Pierre!

@RonaAmbrose @PierrePoilievre And this is why the conservatives will continue to lose. You think Canadians are stupid. Just because he did one interview He’s a Prime Minister in waiting? We need real leadership not some weasel that lost his seat and stole another one. Canadians deserve better.

@RonaAmbrose @PierrePoilievre No thank you. By all means keep PP as your leader if you like. That’s your choice as a Conservative. But I’m happy with our current PM. Also, why does no one talk about the fact the Harper Conservatives never built a pipeline but get angry at Trudeau who actually built one.

We've known this for years, yet too many in Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic Canada insisted on voting Trudeau. And what has that brought us? Boosting oil production could ramp up Canada’s GDP and jobs, study suggests | Globalnews.ca globalnews.ca/news/11739635/…

@VincentJCurtis1 @RodAVanier @PierrePoilievre Canada can and is increasing oil production in response to the global shortage caused by the Iran conflict and Strait of Hormuz disruptions. Natural Resources Minister Tim Hodgson announced a boost of 140,000 barrels per day starting April 2026.

Tom Mulcair on Lori Idlout: "It's one of the clearest examples of somebody who's saying, 'Okay, I come from a part of Canada that has serious needs. I'm sitting with the rump of the NDP, we're down to seven seats.' Now they're down to six with her departure, and they're going to be down to five."

@BrilouCanada @glen_mcgregor … announced, with others in the way. Big projects need to be sound and make a long-term difference. Wow! After weeks of speculation, Edmonton Conservative MP Matt Jeneroux crosses the floor to join the Liberals.
Mark Carney@MarkJCarney

I am honoured to welcome Matt Jeneroux to our caucus as the newest member of Canada’s new government. Building a stronger, more resilient, and more independent country will require ambition, collaboration, and occasionally, sacrifice. I am grateful to Matt and his family that he will continue his service as a strong voice for Edmonton Riverbend in Parliament. For more than a decade, Matt has been entrusted by Albertans to help shape a stronger future. He was first elected to Alberta’s Legislature in 2012 and to Canada’s Parliament in 2015 — earning four consecutive mandates in the House of Commons. In Ottawa, he has taken on portfolios that are central to Canada’s economic strength, security, and national resilience — including as Shadow Minister for supply chains, innovation, infrastructure, health, and housing. He is a strong voice in international engagement and parliamentary diplomacy, having served as Vice-Chair of the Canada-UK Interparliamentary Association and Founder of the Canada-ASEAN Parliamentary Group, and building direct working relationships with lawmakers across NATO, Europe, Asia, Africa, the United States and the OSCE. As a new special advisor on economic and security partnerships, Matt’s leadership will contribute to strengthening Canada’s alliances and trade partnerships, advancing Canada’s leadership in global security cooperation, and building our strength at home. The world has changed, and Canada must change with it. This is a time to come together — and together, we will build a stronger future for Edmonton, Alberta, and all Canadians.

Blaming Mark Carney for global economic shocks is lazy politics. Unemployment? Still below historical averages. Tariffs? That’s U.S. protectionism, not Canadian policy. Inflation risk? Falling, not rising. Crime? Provinces handle policing, not the PM. “Aligning with China”? Canada has reduced strategic exposure, not increased it. A majority isn’t a reward for vibes. It’s voters choosing stability over slogans. If you want better, start with facts.

What the HELL! 👇👇👇 Tell me what the HELL Mark Carney has done to deserve a majority government? Higher unemployment? More Tariffs? Higher risk of recession or inflation? Worsening crime? Alining with China? We deserve much better than this 👇👇👇 #flagday

@DazzlingNiagara @DavidColetto One answer. Pierre Poilievre. He's the only thing preventing a conservative run away poll. Conservatives don't seem to understand this. So I've just simplified it. If PCs change Poilievre tomorrow, they have my vote. With him still the leader, I'll hold my nose & vote Carney.
