🔴ELIMINATED: Daraj Tuffah Battalion Commander and 7 other Hamas terrorists, in a precise IAF strike. The elimination included Ahmed Fozi Nazer Muhammad Wadia, the commander of the Nukhba Company in the Daraj Tuffah Battalion and a member of Hamas' paragliding unit. On October 7, Wadia invaded the community of Netiv HaAsara using a paraglider and took command of the massacre of civilians carried out by Hamas terrorists in the community. Wadia is the terrorist who murdered Gil Taasa in front of his children. An additional terrorist eliminated in the strike was responsible for several combat specialties in the Daraj Tuffah Battalion, including engineering, sniping, and anti-tank operations, and was responsible for supplying the explosives used to blow up the security fence in the Daraj Tuffah Battalion's area during the October 7 Massacre. The precise strike on the compound where the terrorists were operating was located near the Al-Ahli Hospital compound in Gaza City. No strike was conducted inside the Al-Ahli Hospital premises. Prior to the strike, numerous steps were taken to mitigate the risk of harming civilians, including the use of precise munitions, aerial surveillance, and additional intelligence.

During an exchange of fire, Israel Prison Service forces eliminated a terrorist armed with an explosive device. The forces also exposed explosive devices that were planted under the roads and were intended to harm them.

Additionally, numerous terrorist infrastructure sites have been dismantled, including an underground weapons storage facility located beneath a mosque, and a lab used to manufacture explosives. The terrorist Wassem Hazem, head of the Hamas terrorist organization in Jenin, was also eliminated. Earlier today, a terrorist approached the area of the Allenby Bridge from Jordan in a truck, exited the truck, and opened fire at the Israeli security forces operating at the bridge. The terrorist was eliminated by the security forces, three Israeli civilians were pronounced dead as a result of the attack. IDF soldiers were dispatched to the scene and are currently operating to rule out the suspicion of the truck being rigged with explosives, further details to follow.

Several terrorists who were operating within a command and control center embedded inside the Humanitarian Area in Khan Yunis were struck overnight in a precise, intelligence-based strike. Despite the extensive measures taken by the IDF to enable the Gazan population to move away from combat zones, including by designating a Humanitarian Area, the Hamas terrorist organization continues to embed its operatives and military infrastructure in the Humanitarian Area and systematically use Gazan civilians as a human shield for its terrorist activities.

Overnight, an Israeli Air Force "Yanshuf" helicopter, which was on a mission to evacuate an injured soldier to a hospital for medical treatment, crashed while landing in the Rafah area in Gaza. An initial inquiry conducted indicates that the crash was not caused by enemy fire. The cause of the crash is still under investigation. There is no change to the IAF's operational activities. Two IDF soldiers were killed as a result of the crash. Following the incident, the Commander of the Israeli Air Force, Maj. Gen. Tomer Bar, appointed an IAF investigative committee to examine the circumstances of the incident.

Yesterday (Wednesday), with the direction of IDF and ISA intelligence, the IAF conducted a precise strike on terrorists who were operating inside a command and control center embedded within a compound that previously served as the Al Jaouni School in the area of Nuseirat in central Gaza. Upon receiving reports claiming that local Palestinian @UNRWA workers were killed as a result of the strike, the IDF requested that the agency provide details and names of the workers, in order to thoroughly review the claim. To date, no answers have been provided by UNRWA despite repeated requests. Furthermore, an IDF inquiry suggests that a significant number of the names that have appeared in the media and on social networks are Hamas terrorist operatives who took part in terrorist activities against the citizens of the State of Israel and IDF troops. This is a further example of the Hamas terrorist organization’s systematic abuse of civilian infrastructure and violations of international law. The IDF will continue to operate against Hamas in defense of the citizens of Israel.
