those devs getting access to mythos:

Good news: Anthropic just revealed Mythos- the most powerful AI model ever made
Bad news: you'll never be able to use it
I get it. It's so powerful that it could exploit cybersecurity
But I hate it. I don't love that a company gets to hand select who gets to use the best intelligence.
The companies who get access to Mythos will have a distinct economic advantage against those that don't
That feels unfair
I'm more of a fan of democratization of intelligence.
This feels like an opportunity for OpenAI to release something as powerful but put it in the hands of consumers. Trust the consumer by default. Sort of like with the OpenClaw situation
Another reason to root for open source

@DoctorYev @Uare_ai Individual AI is you own, train, and control your data locally, creating a private "digital twin" without sam stealing your data😂

it’s gonna be anthropic. OpenAI has way more GPUs and infrastructure to sustain this stuff, and sama knew that it was coming, which is why he’s been pushing so hard to scale compute.
anthropic can’t even handle usage from something like openclaw or other harnesses, so how are they supposed to deal with AGI-level usage?
and if they try to raise prices, that’s gonna hurt them even more. OpenAI probably won’t raise prices anytime soon, even if they’re taking losses, because they’ve got way more resources to absorb that. they’d rather capture the market first and worry about profit later.

I’m pretty sure the $20/$200 subscription pricing was vibe-coded by OpenAI, then copied by Anthropic.
That pricing works for chatbots, not agents. A 24/7 agent can burn through orders of magnitude more tokens than a user chatting with a chatbot.
Now they’re stuck. Neither Anthropic nor OpenAI wants to be the first to change pricing and risk user churn, so the options are: keep subsidizing, get more GPUs, tighter rate limits, and enforce rules like limiting 3rd-party apps.
I wouldn’t be surprised if intelligence gets more expensive, not cheaper.

you can just smell them, unless you are a boomer
