@DashLilHog honestly don't know what's stopping them from just adding it back, literally all of the new stjr are former fans turned devs. Like half of the secret levels were made by fans- maybe I'm just thinking too hard abt it...

Iirc they accidentally messed up some credits and now they no longer accept anything from anyone who isn’t in Stjr

@mnight_grnhouse @ch0kinnn but in all seriousness my only gripe with cez (mainly act 1) is that there's wayy too much is going on visually, and it feels really cramped/linear in some areas (maybe I'm just sad it isn't as open as 2.0/2.1 cez1). Act 2 is good, but unfinished, that's all.

I like using the thok way more then adventure Sonic’s homing attack but that’s only cause I’m already used to jumping well in this game so

@Midwaygem @ChaomasterZ @LandyRS most of the dev team from 1998-2010 are long gone from working on the game, the ones from 2.1-2.2 are mostly new ppl.

The infrequency of updates, combined with the sheer scope of necessary changes, means current SRB2 is still a weird compromise of design ideas from over the years that people either really love or really hate. I feel that not enough are seeing it through this lens

@JellySquisher @Kafonn_ We all had a skil issue when we first started😭 When I first started playing 2.1 back in 2015 I sucked so bad at the controls that I didn't make it past Castle Eggman 1. but the more you play, the better you get. Now I play the game like a pro😎

@InspireTheLiarz @ChaosX2006 @DashLilHog The theme/ (...I guess vibe is the right word) of the game is completely different from all versions prior. 2.2 is an example of the Mania/Utopia effect that basically every fangame was affected by. I mean look at 2.2 before and after 2016.

@ChaosX2006 @DashLilHog How so? Admittedly I wasn't on the older versions for as long but I did give it a couple of plays before 2.2 and it felt like a pretty big upgrade when the update happened.

@DashLilHog back then new players could stick with tails since he had the slowest acceleration and runspeed, and as you played more you could try out knuckles and sonic. There were levels to this, now all new players post 2.2 have to deal with the fastest run speed for everyone 😭

@DashLilHog They shouldnt've removed the different run speeds for the characters. Despite 2.2 fixing alot of control issues, I still see people complaining abt the controls feeling slippery and too fast when there was LITERALLY A SOLUTION TO THAT IN EVERY VERSION BEFORE.

@DashLilHog Great game for starters. It's very simple, really short, and not annoyingly difficult.
I honestly think people should take ideas from this game like reduced ring loss and signpost rewards in more fangames.

@TeeLopes Speed Jungle act 1, the special stage theme and Lagoon City act 2 are probably some of my favorite Sonic songs you've ever composed. Idk I just liked how there was so much variety in styles compared to Mania (I think)

Today I revisited my work on Sonic Superstars for the first time in like 2 years. Hearing my tracks again made me genuinely happy!
Sonic Mania may be the more popular OST, but technically, I still think my work on Superstars is stronger.
Hoping to do more classic Sonic games!

@Chaikiro1 He's 12 years old and lives better than 95% of the people in the world. It can't be that a boy like that eats better than him and on top of that doesn't make mistakes in his exercises.

It was a sign of love Dio never got since he always succeeded in Noble life.
