And the best Pinoy film performance of the 21st century is 1️⃣ JIRO MANIO as Magnifico in Magnifico (2003) In Magnifico, Jiro Manio delivered an extraordinary performance filled with innocence, sincerity, and emotional depth. He captured the purity and selflessness of the titular character, making him both endearing and unforgettable. At the tender age of 10, Manio’s natural charm brought authenticity to every scene, allowing the audience to fully connect with his journey. His is one of the few Pinoy film performances that have swept the Urian, FAMAS, Luna, and PMPC Star Awards. And just like how Magnifico united all the people whose lives he touched in the film, Jiro Manio's performance exudes the same effect.

3️⃣2️⃣ CHRISTIAN BABLES as Barbs in Die Beautiful (2016) Choosing between his lead turns in films such as Big Night and Signal Rock was quite the task, but ultimately, it's his initial foray as the sidekick in Die Beautiful that makes it to the list. While it was the Paolo Ballesteros show and vehicle above anything else, Christian Bables delivers a scene-stealing performance in Die Beautiful, bringing warmth, wit, and heart to his role as Barbs. His chemistry with Paolo Ballesteros adds even further depth to a usually thankless best friend role, switching between dramatic and comedic effortlessly.
