This past week I had my last day with the @edmontonjournal, and next week you’ll find me at @CBCEdmonton.
It feels very strange to leave the world of newspapers, where I’ve pretty much spent my whole career. But it’s a pretty exciting change!

Inside SickKids we found 6 operating rooms have gone dark. The hospital has cancelled nearly 300 surgeries since it decided to ramp down operations in order to help the ICU and ER. The 6,000+ surgical backlog will be tough to tackle.
