I'll be announcing this in a speech later today, but I wanted to share it with you here first. This is the biggest boost to Paid Parental Leave since it was introduced. Six months of paid time off - and the flexibility to choose how to split it between parents.

I completely agree. I am excited to see this well overdue investment in early childhood, but when the care and education of those under 5 is reliant on a sector of underpaid and undervalued women, it just feels off.
