But as this demographic is growing, they are also entering a world that is increasingly more hostile against them. A study from @businessdotcom earlier this year found that resumes with 'they/them' pronouns were less likely to be called for an interview. business.com/hiring/nonbina…

But as Gen Z returns to a more multi-generational office, managers are working with a new set of employees who have different politics, different values, and different identities. Some offices have added pronoun education sessions to their manager onboarding.

The privacy and flexibility of remote work means people have had more freedom to dress the way they want, and to think about how they present in the world - without the pressure of conforming to a certain idea of gender.
