I'd like to address the recent article
m.greatandhra.com/movies/news/wi… in @greatandhranews and provide clarity on certain misconceptions. Our founder's passion for filmmaking led to the establishment of PMF, which has grown into a successful media house. Investing income from his international business ventures, we adopted a factory model approach.
Between 2018-2023, PMF released 26 films, with 90% achieving blockbuster status or recovering principal costs. Notable successes include MLA, GOODACHARI, OH BABY, Venky Mama, Nishabdam, Raja Raja Chora, Karthikeya 2, Bro, Vadakupati Ramaswamy and Viswam. Along with web content like Bloody Mary, Newsense, Kudi yedam ithey, Hari katha
In 2024, the decline in non-theatrical business impacted our investments in few movies. However, this setback is unrelated to the quality of our content. It's essential to recognize that PMF's success is built on a strong foundation of group businesses. The losses incurred in 2024 were negligible compared to our group's size, and in fact, these losses were much lesser than the group's one-month salary cost.
Regrettably, certain media outlets have resorted to sensationalized reporting, driven by political agendas. We hope they will adopt a more responsible and accurate approach.
Looking ahead, 2025 promises to be an exciting year for PMF, with a stellar lineup of films, including JAAT, Mirai, Rajasaab, Telusukadha, G2, Garividi Lakshmi, Pinaka, Maa Kaali, and many more.
We remain to be proud supporters of the current NDA government in Andhra Pradesh, we are also in to producing high-quality content and contributing to the state's growth.
