To my knowledge, there is no need for Vijay to get majority. Governor is bound to invite the single largest party to form government. The only way Vijay government can fall is both DMK and ADMK bringing no confidence motion together. Being traditional rivals, they are less likely to do that. Even if they do that, who they'll project as an alternative to form government? In my view, once Vijay forms the government, parties like Congress and Communists would come forward to support the government. So I don't see any reason why Vijay government would not last for next 5 years.
