🧠 I learned so much at the STEM/STEAM Forum! 🎨🧪From shadow puppets to storyboards, there were so many valuable sessions on arts integration, including a workshop on natural dye by the amazing #apsarts @MsRannalsArt! 🌼 @erickson_sarah_

Our @HopeHillElem PreK artists celebrated #DotDay by making their mark with tempera sticks, oil pastel, marker, and paint! 🎨#apsarts @erickson_sarah_

Our 3rd Gr. @HopeHillElem artists had so much fun creating 🫟painted paper🫟 for our upcoming collage project. We used a combination of gel plate monoprinting & tempera paint with all sorts of tools: 🖌️brushes, 📦cardboard, even a 🪥toothbrush. 🎨 #apsarts @erickson_sarah_

From 🩰choreography to tempera sticks to 🖍️oil pastels and 🖌️watercolor, our @HopeHillElem Kindergarten artists have been exploring all types of lines 🌀 and what they can become. 🎨 #apsarts @erickson_sarah_

Our @HopeHillElem Kinders read The Artist by @ed_vere & brainstormed what artists do. They then created self-portraits as artists (with lots of 🌈🌈). For the frames, we began exploring Elements of Art: line, shape, & color & making creative choices. #apsarts @erickson_sarah_

Our 2nd Gr. @HopeHillElem artists familiarized themselves with the art room by arranging objects for a still life. We practiced observational drawing & adding value using pencil. ✏️ #apsarts @erickson_sarah_

🎨Our 5th Gr. @HopeHillElem artists are ready for art! We brainstormed why 📝planning is important, made connections w/ the 🔄engineering design process, &🖌️created our covers. Inside, artists planned out a dream project & practiced drawing techniques. #apsarts @erickson_sarah_

Beautiful 3rd Grade collagraph prints of Georgia animals 🐇🐦‍⬛. Our @HopeHillElem artists drew animals from observation, build collagraph plates out of foam, and learned to pull a print. 🎨 #apsarts @erickson_sarah_ @HHES_Principal

2nd Gr celebrated #HispanicHeritageMonth by studying the art of @rafaellopezart 🎨 With his illustrations as inspiration, our @HopeHillElem artists used colored pencil, texture plates, & watercolor to create these beautiful birds.🐦‍⬛#apsarts @erickson_sarah_ @HHES_Principal
