it's a tough feeling. Opportunities though are more abundant than they feel. Many of my biggest mistakes in hindsight have turned out to be blessings. Some of them have remained clearly negative EV but even so learning to move forward is the best path. Excited to hear what you do next

The new L1s spawned companies (security audits, bounty platforms) that were short-term super profitable selling to L1s, but most of them don't exist anymore once the VC money spigot dried up.
I think the same will happen to companies selling RL environments and data to AI labs.

The AI labs raising at crazy valuations today remind me of "professor coin" L1s raising at crazy valuations back in 2018 (ThunderToken, Algorand, Oasis, Dfinity, etc.). Driven by greed and FOMO.

I removed 423 GB from GLM‑5.2 without changing the model.
1,403 GB → 980 GB.
753B weights.
Bit for bit exact.
No quantization or retraining.
The weights remain compressed in VRAM instead of rebuilding the full model first.
