Resolved. 3 supervisors up and telling the life story of the passenger I sat next to on the inbound flight finally convinced them!

Flew @united to MEX on a round trip ticket. Now they tell me I was a no-show for that flight (I was on it!) so I can't come home and should look into buying a 1-way ticket!

First crash of my life — on I-80 West in snowstorm, a schmuck lost control, a truck jackknifed, a pile on ensued. Skidded and hit a previous one. Atlas front end smashed, son and I and the dog are fine! Tow truck dropped us near Alta and a stranger gave us a ride to Sac Amtrak
