To all the Traders , if you are carrying Positions in Nifty or BankNifty for directional bias at this time, then you should leave trading now. At VIX 25 , it does not even make sense to hold a positional Bias. The VIX is at 25 because of a Reason. VIX at 25 means the Smart money is out and not Writing enough positions because they are still not sure of the Markets. It can go any side and that also big moves. So if you lost money because of Huge Gap up down, then it was your error , not the Markets, not Trump. #nifty

Are there any good ACs in the Indian market? My LG inverter AC (window) developed a gas leak and corrosion after moderate use in less than three years. Now either have to keep renewing the AMC or pay for new gas refills every season. My older O’General and Carrier worked for 7-8 years before developing any issues. But it’s well-nigh impossible to find similar models anymore and can't trust any shopkeeper. All just lie without any ethics whatsoever.

Nobody is really making the same prediction I am, that I can see. I am just looking at the big picture facts: * Iran lost militarily. * Iran's ballistic missile program did far less damage than even mega bulls thought before this military operationg began. * India is saying plainly that they will send in 7 warships to end Iran's blockade. Which makes sense, since Iran losing a war doesn't magically let them turn international waters into a toll road - that is truly incoherent. * All of Iran's neighbors turned against Iran * Iran is also angering China by blockading them. Unclear if China will actually join the fight, but I don't see why they would want to help Iran.

BREAKING: An Iranian missile has struck Saudi Arabia. This comes just two days after Saudi Arabia warned Iran that any further attacks on its soil would elicit a military response.

@JuniorSahney @JuniorSahney India is not neutral. Who told you this? Our PM did not post a condolence message when Iranian Ayatollah died. He hasn't posted anything regarding it till now. US Ships attacking Iran are refeuling and restocking at our ports under LEMOA. Are we neutral?

India has taken a neutral stance, which has its pros and cons, and that's debatable whether it's good or bad. The issue is that everyone who matters is saying that the situation is under control, and there is nothing to worry. Am not sure if this is the right thing to say when our country is heavily dependent on global supplies and as of this writing Hormuz is largely shut. We the citizens need to know with extreme transparency the stock piles of all essential commodities and how much reserves we have left, and what is the exact contingency plan. I again think that India is working on the hypothesis that a ceasefire is round the corner and things will get back to normalcy. While hope is an essential ingredient, but unfortunately it's not a data point. The last thing the country needs is a Covid like situation where we queue up for essentials and the whole country comes to a stand still. We are not ready for the same, and if the government becomes transparent, then every citizen and corporate house can plan their expenditure in order to not panic later. Remember a oil & gas shock will have a ripple effect on every known commodity, whether essential or non essential. Our own house help are getting troubled in getting cooking gas cylinders at 2k - 4k a piece and we are arranging electric cookers and air fryers to help them get by. We are in troubled waters, and the first think in fighting an emergency is to acknowledge it. May better sense prevail 🙏

I feel especially bad for the bottom 80% of India that's about to get steamrolled and doesn't even know it yet. Daily wagers, auto drivers, small shopkeepers - people who earn only in rupees, spend almost entirely on food and fuel, and have zero exposure to dollars, gold, or hard assets. Oil past $110, LPG already up Rs 60 per cylinder, food inflation accelerating. No hedge, no savings, no way out. Just rupees buying less every week.

I have just spoken with Iranian President Massoud Pezeshkian. I called on him to put an immediate end to the unacceptable attacks Iran is carrying out against countries in the region, whether directly or through proxies, including in Lebanon and Iraq. I reminded him that France is acting within a strictly defensive framework aimed at protecting its interests, its regional partners, and freedom of navigation, and that it is unacceptable for our country to be targeted. The unchecked escalation we are witnessing is plunging the entire region into chaos, with major consequences today and for the years to come. The people of Iran, like those across the region, are paying the price. Only a new political and security framework can ensure peace and security for all. Such a framework must guarantee that Iran never acquires nuclear weapons, while also addressing the threats posed by its ballistic missile programme and its destabilising activities regionally and internationally. Freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz must be restored as soon as possible. I also urged the Iranian President to allow Cécile Kohler and Jacques Paris to return safely to France as soon as possible. Their ordeal has gone on for far too long, and they belong with their loved ones.

Deeply anguished by the tragic loss of two officers of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited in the unfortunate incident at the CBG Plant in Budaun, Uttar Pradesh. This brutal act of violence deserves the strongest condemnation. The nation has lost two committed professionals who served with dedication and courage. My heartfelt condolences to the families of Shri Sudhir Gupta and Shri Harshit Mishra. Their service and commitment will always be remembered. We stand firmly with their families and the entire HPCL fraternity in this moment of grief. I have directed the concerned officials and requested the State Government of UP to ensure swift and strict action against those responsible. The Government of India stands firmly with the families of the departed officers and the HPCL fraternity during this difficult time.

@anasalhajji @jkamath @anasalhajji Everyone sees India as a Democracy (western style) where need of citizens is considered and future is planned. The right way to look at India is North Korean level politics, South Korean chaebols and 85% of population happy to secure one meal a day. so no reserves.

@1shankarsharma @1shankarsharma Disappointing to see someone as sharp as you pushing this. Quick look shows the flaw: correlation is calculated on a daily basis, no serious participant builds positions via market orders. Large positions are accumulated gradually to avoid moving the price.

Read Le Grand Fromage response to a popular counter factual: " If FII sales had not been there, then market would have been higher because of strong SIP flows". That's nonsense. And there is next to no correlation/ causality between FII flows and market movements. Data talks. Rest is bs

If the crude supply issues lasts for 25 days, we will have Indian Navy stationed at the strait to ensure the crude flows to Mundra port. I can bet India only shipments will be allowed by everyone. Why? If India enters the bidding war for oil, crude will hit $200 a barrel. You can’t have the 3rd largest user starved. Men have gone to war for much smaller things!

I predict that mass migrations will fully halt within the next 5 years. Despite Indians flooding the West, you should be relieved to know that India's fertility rate is BELOW its replacement rate. It has been under 1.99 since 2017. It means India is also an aging nation. But who will take care of India's elderly? Nigerians?

I was not always hopeless about India. I spent 8-9 years of my professional years there, while at least 30% of my college batchmates left right during graduation and the number was close to 70% in 5 years. But when any efforts to improve things by identifying what’s wrong is met with violent and vitriolic response from people (who have most likely not contributed even 10% of what I have back to the country), and this incessant “anti national” cry, it gets easier to give up and move on and convince yourself that those people just deserve what they get and you don’t need to suffer it along with them.

Chinese Billionaire Bian Ximing built a 450 tons (30,000 contracts) NAKED SHORT silver position on the SHFE. On a Chinese exchange that currently houses a TOTAL of 350 tons of silver. Chinese regulators stepped in yesterday, froze Bian’s position, barred him from adding to his shorts, and publicly disclosed the scale of the trade. It's a clear warning to silver bears, china doesn't want silver prices to go down
