Spent a few days in the place I grew up. Life is slow here, the wind makes the Shesham leaves whistle a. Oddly familiar ditty. A rickety swing sways in its deep shade and I remember the child I was in this place. Memory is a strange thing, I have no recollection of my life here but I feel like a child looking at this scene. My body is telling me I have been here before and this life belongs to me. I have forgotten that I have forgotten this.

When Napoleon returned from exile on Elba, the restored Bourbon king sent troops to stop him. Napoleon encountered the 5th Infantry Regiment near Grenoble. He walked forward alone toward the soldiers' muskets, opened his coat to expose his chest, and called out: ''Here I am. Kill your Emperor, if you wish.'' The sabbatical was illuminating, crashed on couches, rode atop a perpetually active stallion, met a 100+ people in and around Bangalore, got to know more life stories than career arcs, laughed immensely, grieved fully, wrote, danced, saw sunsets, rode around the city. Fin. God is good.

Photography is not about having the fanciest of cameras with you, but having a subject to photograph. A subject you love making photos of, daily, weekly, or as frequently as you can.
Our dog, and now our daughter have been the center of my photography journey for the past 6 years. 😁 Find your subject, the camera is whatever you have with you. The best photos are those that mean something to you.

If the CJP fans were so frustrated with the BJP government, they should've backed INDIA parties in elections and mobilized support in pockets of protests that have happened in last couple of years. But at the time, they were busy pulling down opposition's efforts.
