As with people, with cattle, sometimes it's easier to call them to you, than chase them to where you want them to be.

Enjoyed celebrating the opening of Cargill’s canola crush plant outside Regina. Crushing 1 million tonnes annually, this facility will help us reach our Growth Plan goal of crushing 75% of the canola we produce here in SK. Thanks to Cargill for choosing SK for this investment!

Thanks to Minister MacDonald for stopping by for a discussion this afternoon. I always appreciate the opportunity to share priorities on behalf of Saskatchewan’s agriculture industry.
Heath MacDonald@CornwallHeath

Great conversation this afternoon with Minister Marit, focusing on aligning our governments' priorities with the real needs of Saskatchewan's agriculture and agri-food sector. We're ensuring farmers have the support they need to keep their operations strong and growing.

So it turns out Carla Beck has held secret meetings with her federal leader she said she wouldn’t meet with.   You know, the guy who wants to shut down our energy industry. Is that why her own NDP members are circulating a petition calling for her resignation?

We’re removing restrictive language from 240+ outdated policies so nurses can safely work to their full scope. Because letting health care workers do what they’re trained to do just makes sense. We’ll keep taking practical steps to put patients first. saskatchewan.ca/government/new…

More critical care capacity is on the way in Saskatoon — with over $17 million to expand and modernize the ICU at Royal University Hospital, growing from 19 to 26 beds. It’s all part of the Patients First plan to make sure people get the right care, at the right time.

Announcing the largest annual Canadian mega-project.   It starts later than usual this year, but the work is already underway and ramping up.   No ribbon cutting. No headline.   Just Saskatchewan producers investing billions every spring to grow the food, fuel, and fertilizer the world relies on.

“Our members understand the realities of mining, generation, transmission, reliability and affordability far better than political staffers or outside consultants attempting to score headlines,” Hoste said. He also accused the NDP of a “deliberate misrepresentation of costs intended to undermine confidence in Saskatchewan’s energy sector and the workers who depend on it”.

We want to hear from Saskatchewan families. Watch for a postcard in the mail and share your thoughts on social media use for youth under 16. Return it by June 30. As these conversations continue nationally, we want to ensure Saskatchewan is representing the views of our parents and communities. Your voice matters.

SK’s value-added agriculture revenue reached a record $8.4 billion in 2025. This is possible due to the strength of the sector, and the quality of our crops and livestock. Recent plant openings and expansions demonstrate investor confidence and position SK for future growth.

Saskatchewan is world‑class, its people, its resources, and its industries. I was proud to join the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce at their 4th Annual Food, Fuel, & Fertilizer Global Summit to talk about Shaping Canada’s economic future. From food, fuel, and fertilizer to critical minerals, Saskatchewan delivers what the world needs—reliably and responsibly—as a secure and trusted global partner. Our vibrant industries don’t just power our provincial economy; they are essential to global stability and growth. Even in uncertain global times, our province continues to grow, create opportunity, and build strong relationships with industry and partners around the world. As Cameco CEO Tim Gitzel put it: “The sun is shining on this province today, and it’s going to shine on us for decades to come.”

Our province produces the food, fuel, and fertilizer the world depends on. The Food, Fuel and Fertilizer Summit is an opportunity to highlight Saskatchewan’s leadership, innovation, and growing role in strengthening global food security and energy stability. We’re proud to host leaders from across sectors right here at home—because Saskatchewan isn’t just contributing to the global supply chain, we’re helping shape its future.
