Had a doors vs wheels thread at work today and we got into the topic of what is considered a door or wheel, and the topic of biological wheels came up.
Which prompts me to ask the question here.
"Are buttholes doors to your body?"
@peripherlvision I had to go to the university library to look up the UWaterloo mailing address in a book so I could mail my grad school application. 😔
Yesterday I ended up telling a couple of much younger colleagues about what university was like before email, bring forms to profs for signing and waiting in line to sign up. (Email did exist but the university hadn’t really adopted it yet.) So I’m feeling super old now.
@timarney@thenextmusk We’ve been fairly happy with it so far. Still a bit of work to do to get a11y right of course (I’m looking at you, checkbox groups)
@quidampepin@CDS_GC Handling ProtB data requires putting in place security controls and procedures, and accrediting the cloud provider appropriately. There’s ongoing work to do this for GoC with Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS.
Hey #GCDigital, anyone managed to build accessible online forms (not PDF), that can handle Protected B information? The guidance on forms for #CanadaDotCa is not as good as it should, and I don't think we have anything about dealing with confidential info.
@Actinolite@CBSAllAccess I think it’s all about licensing unfortunately. Presumably it’ll at least be on iTunes at some point soon, as Star Trek Discovery is.
I love how fast we can iterate on our ideas. Finding out quickly what works with people and what doesn't keeps us on track to deliver a service that will meet our users' needs.
