🇺🇦 Magyar: Yesterday, taking advantage of the fog, the Russians actually began their spring-summer offensive on the Rodynske-Huliaypole section (≈100 km of the front). In particular, they advanced on horseback (!). However, the bet on "invisibility" did not work - SBS worked out their assault groups on the approaches. Result: on March 17 - more than 500 200th and 300th servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces. On the night/morning of March 18 - another + 277. In total - in ~1.5 days: 900+ liquidated and half-dead only on this section of the LBZ. Despite such losses, the Russians failed to break through any section of the front.

❗️❗️❗️ 🇺🇦🇷🇺BIG | A new unprecedented level of Russian losses in a single day in Ukraine On March 17, after a failed Russian offensive attempt in the Zaporizhzhia direction, where Ukrainian unmanned systems — FPV kamikaze and bomber drones — played a key role in repelling the assault, 1,710 Russian troops were either killed or seriously wounded. @sauldavid66 @I_W_M Absolutely delighted they will be back on public display. I took my eldest son to the IWM to see them before the exhibition ended. A shame they couldn't remain there but sure there would be good reasons.

Fantastic news that the National Lottery Heritage Fund has awarded a grant to the Royal Artillery Museum for its 'Guns On The Plain' project, which aims to bring together military, veterans and civilians at a dynamic, accessible and sustainable museum at Larkhill, in Wiltshire, home of the Royal Artillery. We have more than 300 years of battle-hardened history - and so much of what has gone before, has shaped us into the modern fighting force we are today. We are proud of that legacy.

Ukrainian forces reclaim territory in surprise and well planned operation on Oleksandrivskyi axis Ukrainian Defence Forces have retaken multiple settlements and significant areas of territory during a carefully planned counteroffensive on the Oleksandrivskyi axis, according to frontline commanders. In an interview with Army Media, Artem Kulachevych, commander of a UAV battalion from the 82nd Air Assault Brigade, said the operation began in late January after weeks of rapid planning and strict operational secrecy. Ukrainian units moved into position in mid-January and launched the ground phase of the offensive around January 25, catching Russian forces off guard. The operation involved coordinated actions across a broad sector by multiple Ukrainian units, including the 95th Air Assault Brigade, the 1st Assault Regiment, and other supporting formations of the Air Assault Forces. According to Kulachevych, the results were significant: • large areas of Ukrainian territory reclaimed • several settlements liberated • Russian forces pushed back across the sector He also warned that Russian information operations are now attempting to deny or distort the battlefield results, claiming control over settlements that Ukrainian forces say have already been retaken. “In reality, we managed to reclaim a large amount of Ukrainian land and achieve the tasks set by higher command,” Kulachevych said. The operation highlights Ukraine’s ability to conduct planned counteroffensive actions while preserving combat strength and exploiting surprise on the battlefield. #Ukraine #UkraineWar #DefenseForces #StandWithUkraine #RussiaUkraineWar

@PodBattleground @juliusstrauss1 That’s Kim in the background. I was just out of shot. Felt a mixture of sadness and rage as I witnesssed the aftermath of yet another Russian war crime: 11 civilians died in that destroyed apartment block.

Highlights of @PodBattleground’s trip to Ukraine include a visit to a destroyed electricity substation in Odesa, an interview with the commander of a Khartya Corps battalion (which had recently helped to liberate Kupyansk) in his underground tactical HQ near the front lines, and a coffee with the legendary special forces operator (and star of Oscar-nominated Porcelain War) Katya —- (in pic below) who was one of the last Ukrainian soldiers to leave Bakhmut. All coming up on the pod, available with video on Spotify and YouTube. Here’s our first report: youtu.be/uaEu09gbu5k
