If every person new to crypto was forced to paper trade their first 3-12 months we would have many more crypto millionaires. Unfortunately the tuition in this space is some of the highest on the planet.

Love to see stories like this! This is the way!

She didn't wait for permission. She just gave six paralyzed people their movement back. Meet Tatiana Coelho de Sampaio. A Brazilian biologist who spent over 25 years quietly working on something the medical world said was impossible: reversing spinal cord injuries. Her weapon? A molecule called polylaminin. It's a lab-made version of a protein the human body produces during embryonic development to help neurons "talk" to each other. After birth, it nearly vanishes. Sampaio figured out how to recreate it from human placenta proteins and apply it directly to damaged spinal cords. The result? Nerves start rebuilding their broken communication lines. Connections that were considered permanently severed begin firing again. She leads the Extracellular Matrix Biology Lab at UFRJ (Federal University of Rio de Janeiro), and her team partnered with Brazilian pharmaceutical company Cristália to turn the research into a real drug. Six paraplegic patients in the experimental phase. Partial movement returned. Some regained sensation. One quadriplegic man, Bruno Drummond de Freitas, paralyzed after a 2018 car accident, was treated almost immediately after his injury under an academic clinical study. The patent alone took 18 years to register. She's 59. Avoids social media. Sleeps six hours a night. Raises an orphan from Maranhão. When asked why she stays off the internet, she said she prefers real life. Now the project sits with Anvisa, Brazil's health regulator, waiting on approval to expand human trials. The scientific community is already whispering one phrase around her name: Nobel Prize. While the world argued, she rebuilt spines. Source: Peq42 / brazilcore(.)com / ensaiosclinicos(.)gov(.)br

Unpopular opinion that I don’t need you to agree with: May is going to be a huge shake out of this year. I do not believe in BTC under $70k - I’ll be shocked if we spend any meaningful time below $75k . I’ll either be right or wrong - it’s very binary. We shall see.

I don't understand the hate towards @brian_armstrong today. Every company is out there reducing workforce when able once they learn how to embrace the AI revolution. Brian was just transparent about it. I'm not a fan of everything Coinbase does, but I am a fan of honesty.

These people who could be replaced by AI—where will they go next if their skills are replaced? Change professions? Change skill sets? The whole story demands a lot of skepticism. We rush constantly to increase productivity, but for what? What is humanity’s end goal? What’s the target? Is there a humanitarian plan? What are we doing? What’s the meaning of all this? Is it all about the big corporations growth and and ultimately heavy bags? What about the corpo rats who will now be unemployed rats? I don’t see many discussing it. We just ignore everything and rush forward, doing stuff. What’s best for humanity? Is there anyone even capable to realize? Any wise people out there?

BREAKING: Coinbase just laid off 14% of its entire workforce because of AI. CEO Brian Armstrong said engineers are now shipping in days what used to take teams weeks. Non-technical employees are writing production code. Entire workflows are being automated. The company is rebuilding itself around AI-native pods where a single person handles engineering, design and product management all at once with AI doing the rest. Coinbase is not alone. Over 95,000 tech workers have been laid off across 249 companies in 2026 alone, running at 864 people every single day. Q1 2026 was the worst quarter for tech layoffs since early 2023, with 81,747 cuts, up 580% from Q4 2025. At the same time Google, Amazon, Microsoft and Meta are spending a combined $725 billion on AI infrastructure in 2026, up 77% from last year. The money being spent on AI is coming directly from the salaries of the people being cut.

A Chinese scientist wants to flip the script on women's biology, and the idea is wild. Hongmei Wang, a biologist with the Chinese Academy of Sciences, is exploring whether women could one day menstruate just four times a year instead of twelve. The thinking behind it? Every menstrual cycle burns through eggs. Stretch the cycle to once every three months, and in theory, the ovaries hold onto more of their reserve for longer. That means a longer fertility window. A delayed clock. More options. Wang isn't some random voice on the internet. She's a leading figure in reproductive biology, with more than 50 published papers on embryo implantation, placentation, and ovarian follicle development. Her lab has already pushed boundaries before, including stem cell work that extended the reproductive lifespan of aging monkeys. Now the focus shifts to something even bolder: rewiring how often the human body cycles in the first place. Imagine a future where biology bends to give women back time. @TylerDurden Philosophically thinking: the only reason for someone to suggest that stoicism is a psyop to weaken/soften men, is because he can’t be strong enough to apply the principles in his own life, or doesn’t understand it at all
