@Ella_Maru We use Matlab or Python to plot data and then assemble individual panels in Illustrator. It does take effort but figures turn out great. Time spent is probably equal between writing code and graphic design.

Colloidal random lasers are hard to design and control. Research in @NaturePhysics shows that combining optically controlled micro-heaters with thermophilic particles attracted by them leads to microlasers with programmable and reversible patterns. go.nature.com/3o6McFC
